Several recent studies have pointed to the validity of doing very short cardio sessions (10 minutes) several times a day as being as beneficial… or even better… than one longer session.

[ Note: This article was written by fitness and nutrition author Jon Benson. I have his permission to share it with you. ]

Several recent studies have pointed to the validity of doing very short cardio sessions (10 minutes) several times a day as being as beneficial… or even better… than one longer session. I agree, assuming you do some form of interval work in your cardio sessions. In fact, unless you want to drop a lot of bodyfat, you can get by with one 9-minute session a day if you do it right.

Quick Start: Try three super-short sessions with at least a 2-3 minute higher-intensity ‘burst’ in the middle. You do not have to go to the gym to do this. You can do this by walking stairs, stepping up and down on a low platform, or even walking outside. Let’s face it: 10 minutes is a lot easier on the brain than 30 minutes… and just as good.

Here is Why Your Last Diet Didn’t Work…Often times it seems that when you are over weight you are labeled fat and put on a shelf somewhere. This is not fair to you! You deserve to lose weight and live a healthy, happy, and successful life. You deserve to strip any unwanted fat from your body and look and feel the way you have always wanted.

We want to help you. The reason Strip That Fat works so well is because we are honest with people about losing weight. We know what it takes and we have helped over 10,000 people to lose weight by “telling the facts”. Fair enough?

You get ONE FULL CHEAT MEAL each week. This means you can fill up on that pizza you have been craving or that blizzard from Dairy Queen.

Low Carb Diet Plans Don’t Work

You have probably tried low-carb, Atkins-style diets, or at least heard of them. These diets do not work. They are much too strict, not sustainable, and make your life miserable as your body does not function properly without carbs causing headaches, irritability and loss of sleep. Low carb diets will actually cause you to gain weight after the initial weight loss.

The Strip That Fat system is not your typical diet. Unlike many other diets, it gives YOU as the dieter full control of how you want to lose weight, how much you want to lose, and how quickly you want to lose it!

Two weeks from now you can lose inches around your waist, look and feel better and drop up to 10lbs in overall weight. You will regain some of that glow and feel much more confident just after a couple of short weeks.

Pointing Fingers

They all want to point fingers.

In The China Study—the book, not the actual study—the good doctor wants to point a finger at animal protein as the primary cause of disease, specifically heart disease and cancer.

The “actual” study doesn’t exactly comport to these facts, but hey…

Others want to blame our polluted soil. This has far more merit. Our soil is most definitely not in the greatest shape, making true organic vegetables even more important to consume.

Still others want to blame a lack of exercise. Valid point, but there’s more to the story.

Some a lack of spiritual belief. Others, too much. It’s nuts I tell ya.

Here’s my take on the matter:

All fingers ultimately point to you. You are the only one who can do anything about anything.

It’s a combination of factors; never just “one” factor causing disease and ill-health.

Balance is absolutely essential.

But guess what?

Balance does not sell books. Extremism sells books.

In my book “The Every Other Day Diet” I made a case for balance.

Extreme, radical, earth-shattering balance. Balance that includes eating (gasp!) pizza. Burgers. Ice cream.

Balance that still allows for ample fatloss
– in fact much faster than normal dietplans can achieve.

Balance that makes you work harder on some days, not so hard on others.

Doesn’t this seem more reasonable than the alternative?

To live your life eating nothing but plants? Sorry doc, but dozens of civilizations prove this assertion of a fully plant-based life as THE answer completely false. The Masai are just one of these groups of people who consume incredible amounts of meat and fat without hardly a trace of heart disease or cancer.

Granted, they walk a lot — hint, hint.

Neither do you want to live your life devoid of starch and carbohydrates. You just need a good balance.

Balance is better than pointing fingers.

( Although the real problem is insulin… ; )

Kid. Sorta.

Think balance.

Fit Bits: Got Cellulite?

I get this question all the time: What do I do about cellulite?

I almost feel guilty. As a man, I have far less experience with it. Cellulite can affect men, but it’s almost an exclusively female thing.

But here’s something that I’ve seen help. Aside from a healthy low-insulin diet (like Every Other Day Diet) and a solid weight training program (both are musts) you should do this: Train with interval cardio for 30 minutes 5 days a week. 3 minutes at 85% intensity; 5 minutes at 65% intensity, then repeat three times. Warm up and cool down takes the rest of your time.

But the trick is this: Part of your lower intervals involve tensing the muscles where you have cellulite. Obviously this will demand you stepping off the treadmill or stopping your walk/jog, but tense for 10 seconds per muscle 3 times, then continue. Then after your workout tense and stretch for 10-15 minutes.

Focus your mind on the areas of cellulite the entire time. Picture them receding into your skin. I know this sounds a bit “odd”, but this combo has worked for quite a few women. They have either eliminated the cellulite or radically reduced it.

Bear in mind: Until you get your eating under control and get rid of the obvious body fat, cellulite may not budge. But keep going — and keep building the muscle in the area of the cellulite in the process. You’ll be happy with the results.

By line: By Chriatian Walker
URL: The Diet Solution Program

The Diet Solution Program promises a complete and comprehensive weight loss program that will not only help you lose body fat, but guarantees you increased energy, health and vitality all at the same time.

With so many weight loss programs out on the market and on the internet today, what makes this program any different than all the rest?

Before we get to the program, let’s take a look at the expert behind this program. Isabel De Los Rios is a nutrition and exercise specialist with 10 years of experience helping clients reach their ideal weight and tackle conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and high cholesterol. Isabel has a very extensive educational background in nutrition and exercise physiology. Her personal experience with her own weight struggles and her mother’s severe diabetes led her search for the BEST nutrition information available today. The Diet Solution Program is a result of her 15 year study and research.

I’ve also talked to Isabel about her training and education background, and I’ll be honest, it was impressive, unlike other so-called “health experts”, who are just following main stream nutrition programs. Isabel provides her readers with the truth: the facts most people have never taken the time to research, read and decipher.

Plus, Isabel has been a nutrition and exercise specialist for the past 10 years and has personally worked with hundreds of clients in her own private facility, overseeing successful weight loss programs. This hands on experience with real people solidified the facts and principles she had learned in books, journals and from other health professionals. The proof was really in the results of real people.

In fact, Isabel’s articles are pretty radical when it comes to her nutrition principles which is why her approach works when main-stream nutrition fails. So if you are looking for the same old nutrition theories taught in every other book and program on the market today, this is not the program for you.

Now one of the biggest questions about the program is simply, “What is The Diet Solution Program?” Well according to Isabel, it is the most comprehensive and detailed nutrition manual available on the market today. Not only does it teach you exactly what principles you need to follow to finally reach your ideal weight, it gives you the meal plans, shopping lists and recipes to do so. It does not push some extreme, unreasonable way to lose weight. It actually teaches you how you can make this healthy way of eating into a lifestyle. And if you have ever attempted to lose weight in the past, you know that the only way to maintain it is to make it a way of life. The best part about Isabel’s program is that this new way of life is not some torturous eating regimen. She really shows you that you can eat delicious food, combined the right way, to lose weight and maintain it.

One of the best side effects of the whole program is the increased health and vitality that every participant experiences. Decreases in blood sugar levels, lowered cholesterol, increased energy, elimination of digestive discomfort and cleared skin conditions are just some of the few benefits other people have already experienced.

Frankly, I’ve used the program myself and recommended to many others. Why? Because I was sick and tired of following nutrition plans that either did not work or made me lose weight but feel terrible. Yes, I want to be at my ideal weight but I also want to maintain a healthy body at the same time and not have to resort to extreme, radical methods. The Diet Solution Program helped me lose weight and feel healthy and energized at the same time.

Now realize that some effort from you will be required, but Isabel has really done all the hard work for you. Included in her program is:

Step by step action steps telling you exactly how to put the principles in place

Detailed daily meal plans that make everyday eating easy

Shopping Lists to make food shopping a snap

Delicious Recipes to make everyday meals tasty

The manual is comprehensive. Jam packed with incredible and valuable information. But you don’t need to wait to get through the whole thing before you can start. You can use Isabel’s Quick Start Guide to start the program ASAP. Some people have even just used the quick start guide and lost 10-15lbs in a little as 6 weeks.

The Diet Solution Program is not just another weight loss scheme or extreme diet. It is truly the only way to lose weight and enjoy a lifetime of health. The Diet Solution Program is perfect for people who have struggled with their weight their whole life and are sick and tired of programs that just don’t work long term. The DSP is also perfect for people who want to take control of their health and reverse health conditions like diabetes, high cholesterol and heart disease.

If you’re in the slightest bit curious, I recommend you look closely at Isabel’s program. I was very impressed with all of The Diet Solution Program meal plans, the bonuses, the guarantee, and Isabel’s expertise. For the money, it’s the best deal in the weight loss industry – so much better than diet pills! And remember…

Isabel De Los Rios’s The Diet Solution Program is backed by a 90 day money back guarantee. And this is a real guarantee… if you are not completely satisfied, you will receive your money back, no “ifs,” “ands,” or “buts.” So you really have nothing to lose.

So now that I’ve shown you why juice is not good for you and how you can make your own healthy drink alternatives, why not learn more about which foods will cause you to lose fat?

I’m pretty used to people coming to my home and saying “Wow, this place is so super healthy. I can’t believe it.” As you may or may not know, it does take quite a few people to keep the Diet Solution Program running. I had a bit of a “retreat” at my house where I invited 3 of our employees to come and work from my house and spend some time together. Whenever entertaining guests, I always try and be the “hostess with the mostess” and in my best Martha Stewart impression I asked “Can I get anyone anything? Some food or a drink?”

One of my employees replied, “Yes, I would love some juice please.”

As I did everything in my power to hold back the look of death, I said “We don’t have any juice. How about water or a tea?”

Without going through the entire conversation, this particular employee couldn’t believe there was no juice in the house. Moreover, she absolutely could not believe that my son does not drink juice and only drinks water (and yes, I did let her keep her job).

She has, of course, read and knows the DSP inside and out, but she admitted that she really didn’t believe that I completely lived my life that way until she saw it with her very own eyes.

But back to the juice…

Juice is one of those drinks that many people perceive as healthy, especially when it’s labeled natural or organic and it says it is made from all natural ingredients. Let me clear this up right now…Juice is NOT part of a healthy eating plan unless you are freshly squeezing it right in your kitchen with your own hands or through a juicer.

“But Isabel. My juice says its organic, natural, 100% juice with no sugar added. Is that ok?”

Well, I spent a significant amount of time reading the label of almost every single juice container, juice box, and juice product and they all came up the same…with tons of SUGAR. Read the label clearly and you will see that every gram of carbohydrate contained in the juice directly comes from sugar.

“But Isabel. All the carbs from fruit are from sugar too right?”

Yes, fruits are almost entirely sugar (coming from fructose), but a whole fruit also contains plenty of fiber and vitamins that are lost when you make a juice, bottle it and store it for any amount of time.

“But Isabel. My juice is fortified with calcium, Vit D and iron (or whatever they are fortifying juice with these days).”

When you “fortify” any food or drink with a vitamin and/or a mineral, your body is smart enough to know that this is not the real version of this particular nutrient. So much so, that it will choose not to use it. Yes, all of these fortified products are not giving you the vitamins and minerals you need. You must obtain these from natural sources like real fruits and vegetables (i.e. real food).

So if you’re a juice lover like many people are or have fallen for the “juice is healthy” trap, here are a few strategies to help you get your juice fix while simultaneously following a healthy eating plan.

1. Buy a quality juicer and make your own juice. There are so many different delicious and nutritious juices you can make in a juicer that will give you a super boost of vitamins/minerals and super nutrition. One of my favorite is carrot, apple and ginger. Be careful though! If you’re anything like me and sensitive to too much sugar at once, I would suggest having a serving of 4 oz or less or mixing your 4 oz with some water. I would also suggest juicing primarily vegetables and not as many fruits. This is a great way to get in some serious nutrition without having to eat vegetables all day long (a great option for children). I would also combine your fresh juice with a protein and healthy fat to keep your blood sugar balanced.

It is best to drink freshly made juice right away, as the longer it is stored, the more it will decline in nutrition. You can put your juice in a glass jar with an airtight lid and fill it to the very top. There should be a minimal amount of air in the jar as the oxygen in air (air is about 20 percent oxygen) will “oxidize” and damage the juice. Wrap the jar with aluminum foil to block out all light. Light damages the juice.

2. Make my favorite “tea juice“. If you haven’t seen this recipe in the Diet Solution Recipe Guide, here it is again:

5-6 bags caffeine-free herbal tea (e.g., peach, mint, chamomile, or fruit tea)

3 quarts boiling water

Stevia powder (or liquid) to taste

Pour water over tea bags in a large pot. Add stevia while tea is hot. (Adjust amount
according to the desired sweetness.)
Let the tea cool, remove tea bags, transfer tea to a serving pitcher or individual water bottles, and refrigerate.

3. Make your own DSP approved lemonade. My business partner loves this and drinks it almost daily (be careful if you’re sensitive to citrus or too much lemon.) Mix the juice from half a lemon, 5 drops of liquid stevia and 12oz of water in a large cup. Add more stevia or lemon based on your taste. This drink is a great alternative to people who need a bit more flavor than plain water all day.

So what did I end up serving my thirsty employee? Water! (And she bought juice when we went out to lunch). Oh well, I tried.

So now that I’ve shown you why juice is not good for you and how you can make your own healthy drink alternatives, why not learn more about which foods will cause you to lose fat? Check out our informative video right now!

*** Short-cut Link:
*** My Favorite Foods Dietplan <== click here

One of the most common questions I get asked is:

“What should I eat before my workouts if I want to get rid of bodyfat?”

The answer?

NOTHING.

I’ve been saying this for almost a decade now… and research is catching up with the idea.

It’s nice to be right. : )

Several studies now confirm that exercising while your body is low on food may be a good way to trim excess fat.

European researchers found that cyclists who trained without eating burned significantly more fat than their counterparts who ate. Now, this is important: Cycling requires a LOT of energy. Far more energy than you need to get rid of bodyfat.

Working out with weights and doing moderate to intense (but short) cardio will take care of 99% of your needs when it comes to fatburning.

But with weights, and espeically with the cyclists that were tested, performance may be an issue.

In fact the members of the group of cyclists that didn’t eat performed worse on the intensive training. Still, they burned a higher proportion of fat to carbohydrates than the group that ate. (Medicine & Science in Sports & Exercise, the journal of the American College of Sports Medicine.)

Why? Simple. Your body’s blood sugar is lowest in the morning prior to eating. When you train, moderately or with intensity, most of your fuel comes from your bodyfat and NOT ingested carbs. Isn’t that cool?

Which would you rather burn… bodyfat or carbs?

Yeah, me too. : )

About performance: I have found that my performance only suffers slightly when fasting and training for the first few weeks. After that my performance increases. The body starts to burn its own bodfyat far more efficiently so I find I have PLENTY of energy.

This was not a lone study on fasting and training. In a 2008 study, Hespel and colleagues tested the effects on men who did endurance training without eating versus those who ate. In the athletes who hadn’t eaten, the researchers found a spike in the amount of proteins needed to process fat, meaning their bodies had been primed through fasting to get rid of more bodyfat.

So, now you know the answer to the old question: “What should I eat before training?”

Nothing… or as little as possible.

In my next email I’ll tell you what to eat AFTER your workouts to REALLY jack your fatburning through the roof…

… and no, it’s not “nothing”. It’s something special. ; )

P.S. If you want the best diet possible to turn your body into a fat-burning machine along with my personal workout plan for fasting cardio… and a plan that works in your favorite foods too … then look no further than this:

Your's Truly

Different Strokes

You know I have often wondered why my wife can lose weight on the 3 day fruit flush diet and enjoy it while I can barely stand the first hour of it. Now it is true that I have suffered through the whole 3 days with her one time and I actually lost more weight than she did, but I hated it and I won’t do it again short of a gun to my head.

We are here to help you

I started this website in hopes of finding solutions for people to use to solve their weight loss problems and this 3 day fruit flush incident got me to thinking about what makes up good solutions. One of the things that I have learned from this incident is that no matter how well a diet is constructed or how much weight you could lose if you follow it, it is virtually useless if you can’t stick to it. Another thing I learned is that different people need different approaches to weight loss. So many people who think that they failed at a diet are wrong, the diet is actually the thing that failed.

A Good Match Makes Perfect

There are many different reasons people are over weight and there are many different ways people approach their problems so trying to create a “one size fits all” diet plan makes about as much sense as “one size fits all” clothes. What we need to do is understand how we got overweight and what our personality type is when confronting a problem. If we can match those up with a weight loss program that is tailored to us then weight loss will come fast and easy.
